Overview:

Associated Portfolio Solutions (“APS”) is an association of independent financial advisors who specialise in wealth and portfolio management. Each associate is approved as an authorised financial services provider by the Financial Services Board and has been specifically invited to become an associate by the APS board on the basis of the associates’ years of experience in the industry, expertise and reputation in the financial services industry.

APS is therefore comprised of some of the top financial advisory practices in South Africa.

In addition to the high standards of independent financial advice and estate planning provided by each of the associates, APS strives to secure access to financial solutions that most appropriately match the financial needs and risk tolerances of the clients of the associates. This objective is facilitated through the scale benefits that are achieved by working together in a close, yet independent association. APS currently has in excess of R2 billion local and foreign assets under management.

APS strives to maintain high levels of transparency, which can only be achieved through a high standard of ongoing communication and reporting to all clients of APS associates. In this regard monthly investment reports are produced which provide clients with detailed feedback on the ongoing performance and risk characteristics of their investment portfolios.

APS has appointed Analytics Consulting as its consultant to provide appropriate investment management capabilities and innovative product to APS.

Analytics Consulting is a product development and investment consulting operation that focuses on developing and offering bespoke product solutions and independent investment consulting to the top independent financial advisory businesses in South Africa. The Analytics Consulting team originates from the Investec stable and is responsible for the management of the Analytics funds of funds.
