Throughout the year, Family Investors investment specialists are invited as guest speakers to civic and local community organizations. In this capacity, we tailor our presentations to the interests and concerns of the particular audience. During a typical school year, we become instructors on the subjects of investments and financial planning for evening adult education programs at local high schools and colleges.

The questions and dialogue that take place during these sessions enlightens those in attendance about the many aspects of investing. It helps us, too, because we become more aware of the needs and concerns of the public. This awareness provides us with the insights that enable us to effectively serve the current and long-term goals of our clients.

We also support and have employees involved in many local community, civic, religious, charitable, and educational organizations with contributions of both time and money.

History:

When Family Investors Company was founded in 1960, financial planning was a relatively new and unique idea. It was a concept designed to help investors develop prudent and systematic methods of putting their hard-earned dollars to work.

It was an idea that we adopted in 1960, and with refinements, continue to practice today. By customizing investment programs to individual needs and goals, we've helped our clients to realize their financial objectives and we've also developed long-term personal relationships.

Our professional staff represents many years of experience in the financial industry. Because our staff applies that experience to each and every client account, we have enjoyed an annual increase in the number of clients we serve.
