Intellivest Securities, Inc., incorporated in 1990, is registered with the SEC as a broker-dealer and is a member of FINRA (which does not mean that the SEC or FINRA endorses our business practices) and is a Georgia licensed registered investment advisor. Intellivest Securities, Inc. provides investment banking services to small cap and private companies including private placements of securities to accredited investors pursuant to Regulation D and in PIPES (private investments in public entities). Intellivest Securities, Inc. is a distributor of its own and third-party research authored by its affiliate, Intellivest Securities Research, Inc., a state licensed registered investment advisor. Intellivest Securities Research, Inc. engages in fundamental research analysis primarily using its proprietary valuation model, Risk Factor Analysis Model, which focuses on an issuer's and its industry's SEC, publicly disclosed risk factors and assigns a value to each risk factor in order to reach a valuation. Intellivest Securities Research, Inc. ratings are based on these values.
Intellivest Securities, Inc. currently has eight investment bankers. Intellivest’s bankers have extensive experience in closing transactions during the past 25 years while affiliated with large and small investment banks. In addition to running Intellivest Securities, Inc. and Intellivest Securities Research, Inc., Dan Kolber is a securities and business attorney at Law Offices of Daniel H. Kolber, P.C. Mr. Kolber has experience in raising capital in exempt and registered offerings, representing securities broker-dealers and registered investment advisors in all areas of compliance and regulatory matters, and representing clients in securities arbitration and mediation proceedings.
In 2010, Intellivest acted as placement agent for a private placement that raised $15 million.
In 2010, Atlanta Mayor Reed selected Kolber to be on the Atlanta Pension Review Task Force. Recently, Kolber has advised Fulton-DeKalb Hospital Authority, the owner of the Grady Health System, the largest hospital in the Southeast, on its pension affairs.
In 2009, he published an article suggesting a change to the method of computing the Dow Jones Industrial Average.
In 2005, the Atlanta Business Chronicle selected Kolber to lead a round table of creative entrepreneurs entitled “The Creative Edge.”
In 2005, the legal newspaper for Georgia, The Daily Report, published an article describing the Kolber Formula, a method invented by Kolber to calculate punitive damages in lawsuits. |
