We do not pull our punches in telling it how it is.

We believe that the cornerstone of financial planning, identifying, and meeting, client needs and objectives, is the provision of detailed and timely professional advice, which focuses more on strategy and the fine-tuning of existing arrangements and less on trying to find a product to sell. Our proposition is free of product bias, is cost transparent and we are not connected to any particular provider.

Rather than an outmoded transactional approach (an industry euphemism for selling products), our focus has always been on building and maintaining a close working financial advisory relationship with our clients. Our relationship is based purely upon the pursuit of your agreed financial planning objectives and the maintenance of a coherent financial strategy.

Our proposition is focused on advice -  not products. We will often advise on the discontinuance of unsuitable products which have been 'sold' in the past and which either never had , or now no longer serve, any useful purpose in your financial planning requirements today.

We are pro-active, not reactive, in our advice process, and keep our clients informed of new opportunities and planning techniques which may benefit them.

We have aligned our values and ethos to those set out by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in their 'Treating Customers Fairly' (TFC) principle embodied within its 'Principles for Business' approach to the financial services sector. To achieve this, financial services firms must place the customer's needs at the heart of everything they do – from how new products are designed and sold, through to the advice consumers are given and the way their complaints are handled and acted upon. They are looking to firms to "embed the principles of Treating Customers Fairly into their corporate strategy and build it into their firm's culture and day-to-day operations” – this is precisely what we do.
