Overview:
Communications for Research, Inc. has two locations, one in Steelville, MO and another in Waynesville, MO. The 3,700 square foot Steelville location is home to the President, Vice President, Operations, Project Managers, and over 50 phone booths that are used for research that requires calling during business hours, evening calling, and calling overseas. The 4,500 square foot Waynesville facility contains over 50 phone booths and is primarily used for research that must be conducted during evening hours.
CFR worked with a full service marketing research firm that needed to get more projects finished, reach respondents faster, and expand their own capabilities. We built an online panel, moved their data collection from telephone only to online and mixed mode methodologies. In one year, they doubled the size of their business to over $7 million in revenue and drastically increased profit margins.
In 2010, this firm merged with one of the largest full service marketing research firms in the world. We perform important niche services such as coding and tabulations that are very difficult for them to manage and complete cost effectively. We now complete hundreds of data collection projects for them annually while their highly skilled staff focuses on what they do best. |

History:
CFR was founded in September 1997, by Jim and Mary Steber. Each brought extensive business experience that has shaped the strong company that exists today. Within the first year of operation the company became profitable. In February 2000, we expanded opening a second phone room in Waynesville, Missouri to accommodate our growing business. With the exception of the 2009 recession, CFR has grown significantly every year.
The foundations of our company were based on relentlessly pursuing excellence in meeting customers’ needs and our own by always being practical and honest in what we deliver. Our efficient business processes have enabled us to offer superior quality research at a price that makes our work extremely valuable. |
