We specialize in serving individuals, small businesses, non-profit organizations, community associations, and governmental entities. In addition, we at Zavada and Associates pride ourselves on being reliable, engaging, friendly, and responsive to your needs.
Individuals: We work closely with individuals in tax and financial planning, tax preparation, planning for college, retirement, estate planning, and other financial issues that may arise.
Small Businesses: Zavada and Associates works extensively with many small business clients, from one person companies to much larger companies. We can assist with payroll, accounting set up, computer consulting, and new business start-ups. In addition, we provide tax consultation, preparation, and planning.
Non Profit / Governmental Entities: We specialize in providing auditing and consulting services to governmental and non-profit entities. We serve numerous boroughs, cities, townships, municipal authorities, school districts, and various non-profit organizations.
Community Associations: A large portion of our practice is devoted to serving community associations of all sizes. This area of the practice was developed by Ray Zavada after having worked in San Diego, California for a firm that exclusively served community associations. We provide a wide array of services to our community association clients, and we are always more than happy to provide a proposal, at no obligation, for the various needs you may have. Many of our association clients are located in the Pocono Mountain region. The firm is a member of the Northeast Pennsylvania Chapter of the Community Association Institute (CAI). Mr. Zavada has served as a speaker at many of their functions. |

History:
The firm was initially founded in 1966 by senior partner Paul Zavada. In 1987, Ray Zavada joined the firm and over the next several years, the firm grew to its current size. This expansion also enabled the firm to offer additional and various services to its clients. |
