History:

The origins of our firm date back to 1946 when Public Accountants Bert Bloom and Ned Erickson formed Erickson and Bloom, Public Accountants. The two ran a successful practice for many years with Bloom continuing on alone after Erickson retired.

In 1968 CPA Gerald Erickson (no relation to the earlier Erickson) approached Bloom about going into business together and Bloom and Erickson, Public Accountants was formed. With Bloom’s decades of experience and Erickson’s youthful enthusiasm the firm grew rapidly, adding staff and retaining clients from a wide range of businesses. When Bloom decided he wanted to slow down his work load he sold his interest in the partnership to Erickson and in 1978 the current business was formed, Erickson and Associates, CPA.

In the years since the establishment of Erickson and Associates, we have become firmly ingrained in our local community and are proud of the relationships we have formed here. We also take pride in the many things our clients have achieved over the years, and the contribution Erickson and Associates has made to their success. We are excited about the challenges and opportunities that the future holds, and we will continue to meet them as we have in the past; with honesty, optimism and determination to turn our progress as a firm to the advantage of our clients.
