History:

Reg Perry, Director, founded the firm in July 1984 as Perry & Associates, CPA. As he marketed and grew the firm, business steadily prospered, and he brought in three more business partners, Amy Fitts, Jamie Boulette, and Mike Fitton.

The firm then known as Perry, Fitts, Boulette & Fitton, CPAs, continued to provide people and businesses with tax, accounting, consulting, and advisory services. According to Reg, "This is as much a people business as it is a numbers business. We really get to know our clients. We offer personalized attention and peace of mind, and people trust us because they know us."

In 2001, the partners decided it was time to make a major investment in the business and in the community by purchasing a parcel of land in FirstPark business park in Oakland to be the permanent home for PFBF CPAs.

In 2012, the directors continued the growth of the firm by expanding to the mid-coast region and opening a second location in Bath.

Today the firm has clients from Maine to California (as well as some international clients). They are families, small businesses, non-profit organizations, and large corporations.

The firm has grown to 21 professionals who each specialize in an area of accounting and customer service. The turnover is extremely low because PFBF is a great place to work. "The best way to foster our company's continued growth and success is to have employees who love being here," says Director, Jamie Boulette. As a team, we take pride in ensuring our clients perceive value in our services.
