Incorporated in 1997, it is engaged in the setting up and subsequent administration of all types of companies; companies limited by shares, limited by guarantee, limited by both guarantee and by shares (hybrid companies) and unlimited liability companies; of collective investment schemes and protected cell companies. Private trust companies are also available and similarly “sociétés” and partnerships all structured as either Category 1 or Category 2 Global Business Licence entities.

These entities offer foreign investors an internationally recognised and compliant vehicle to be used within a structure which focuses on offshore tax planning, tax structuring, asset protection, wealth planning. They can be used as an investment and holding entity benefiting from the extensive range of double taxation agreements between Mauritius and some 36 countries (as Category 1 Global Business Licence entities), and on the other hand, as a cost effectiveand efficient vehicle to conduct business and hold assets offshore (as Category 2 Global Business Licence entities).

AAMIL (Mauritius) Ltd also provides value-added services such as the provision of secretarial work, preparation of accounts and financial statements, provision of nominee shareholders and local directors, acting as company secretary, provision of registered office and registered agent, tax and regulatory compliance for companies, “sociétés” and partnerships.
