Founded in 2001, Peoples Bank of Virginia opened its first branches in 2002 and quickly became profitable by pursuing quality, methodical growth.

Ours is the success story of a new bank that kept the personal touch in banking. Our founders created a bank that treats customers in the same way they themselves want to be treated. It’s the way banking is meant to be.

Peoples Bank of Virginia is a community bank, serving residents and their businesses in the metropolitan Richmond area, including Chesterfield and Henrico where branches are strategically located for the convenience of the people who are our customers. We have developed a broad range of banking products and financial services for both personal and commercial customers. We have also assembled a cadre of business and real estate lenders that are experienced in all facets of small business finance.
