Overview:

Delaware Crossing Investor Group is a network of former and current executives and entrepreneurs who provide counsel and capital to early-stage and growth-oriented companies in the greater Philadelphia region. Delaware Crossing Investor Group (DCIG) offers qualified investors a chance to play an active role in the sourcing of prospective portfolio companies, to manage the investment process and to serve on the board of directors of selected portfolio companies. While many of the investments presented to the group are high risk, they also have the potential for a high return.

Members of DCIG are typically private investors who have previously founded or run successful high-growth companies. Through a combination of their collective business experience and contacts they fund and aid the development of local companies. Members typically have experience in the fields of general management, marketing, sales, product development, marketing communications, law and finance. DCIG includes some the area’s most successful entrepreneurs, experienced experts and talented business leaders, making it not only a great opportunity for investors but also for burgeoning companies.

Unless there is an existing personal connection, DCIG typically limits its interest in investing in companies to those based in Bucks, Montgomery, Northampton and Lehigh counties in Pennsylvania and Hunterdon, Mercer and Burlington counties in New Jersey. However, we have invested in New York and Connecticut companies. Companies from Delaware are also an option but for the most part, the only exceptions have been when DCIG co-invests with one or more other angel organizations.
