First Savings is committed to providing a safe, on-going financial institution for the residents, businesses and communities of Bucks, Montgomery, Northampton, Lehigh, Chester and surrounding counties. This will be accomplished through a commitment to customer service by listening and responding to individual needs, providing the needed services in an expanding financial market and changing economy, and through a long standing tradition of community service.

Overview:

Since 1922, First Savings has been here for the benefit of grandparents, parents, and their children. The benefits realized by the past generations have also been accrued for the present and future generations. People have seen and continue to see the success and benefits of a mutual concept. This has led to a high level of customer trust and confidence.

Customers point to First Savings as their financial institution - something they are a part of and have helped build and develop. The mutual concept of people helping people is personified in their feelings and actions. The sense that "I am not just a number, but a person" is evident by their support and pride.

Community service, customer service, and customer loyalty -are at the root of all other strengths. Without these as a foundation, the goals and purposes of First Savings would have no meaning.

1/1/1922 Institution established. Original name: First Federal Savings And Loan Association
6/7/1991 Changed name to First Savings Bank Of Perkasie.
6/7/1991 Changed organization type to Mutual Savings Bank.
1/11/1993 Changed trust powers from Trust Powers Not Granted to Limited Trust Powers Granted.
