Overview:

The Gottesman Company is one of North America's largest M&A firms, established in 1985. We have over 100 M&A professionals based in key locations throughout the United States and Canada. Our average professional has over 35 years of business experience. We act as M&A Business Finders serving both Buyers and Sellers, specializing in the Mergers & Acquisitions of businesses in the mid-market arena, nationally and internationally.

We are different from your "Conventional" business brokers. We do not "Represent" either the Buyer or the Seller as a fiduciary agent. The Gottesman Company operates as M&A Business Finders, the largest such firm in the US and Canada with close to 100 professionals coast to coast. Sometimes we start with the Seller and find the Buyer; sometimes we start with the Buyer and find the Seller. In any event, we arrange for the introduction to the transaction and earn a fee on a "Success Basis" only.

Additional Value Added Finder Service in connection with the introduction of Buyers to Sellers include; creation of Selling Documents (e.g. Executive Summaries, Profiles); Reconstruction of Financial Statements to help show Hidden Values; Customized Buyer Searches and Seller Searches.

We work directly with business owners, but also partner with other Brokers and Intermediaries to maximize their client options and support their growth and profit goals. And, we never ask for retainers and earn our finder's fees only on the closing of a transaction.

History:

The Gottesman Company was established in 1985 by Eugene Gottesman, Lifetime CBI, and Chairman. (CBI-Certified Business Intermediary by the IBBA: There are only 600 CBI's in the U.S. of whom less than 20 are "Lifetime" CBIs.)
