Dominick & Dominick LLC, founded in 1870, is a historic name on Wall Street and one of the early firms to join the NYSE. During its long history, the firm has had only two owners, both families of distinguished repute who have committed to the enduring goal of building a firm which serves its customers’ needs and interests and supports its employees and financial advisors.

In an era fast-becoming dominated by large financial supermarkets, foreign-owned investment banks and calling centers for certain customers, Dominick & Dominick has maintained its evergreen approach to building a franchise where customers receive the personal service they have come to expect. We continue to grow our firm by hiring experienced sales professionals with long-standing client relationships who seek the flexibility to be able to offer their clients quality products and services that are geared towards the customer’s financial needs and objectives.

Continued regulatory actions highlight the inherent conflicts which exist at large, vertically integrated financial firms that issue research, generate investment banking offerings and create proprietary products for its employees to sell and, as a result, may not put their clients’ interests first. Flexibility to provide multiple sources of debt and equity research product by choosing from among the leading securities firms, since we will not be issuing our own investment research;
Access to premier investment advisors and investment fund managers, in part because we have chosen not to have our own distinct asset management business or originating competing proprietary products;
Access to state-of-the-art trading and execution technology used by several of the largest multi-line financial services firms given our affiliation with Bank of New York’s Pershing Group, one of the industry’s largest dedicated executing and clearing organizations; and
Access to public and private equity and debt new issue offerings and alternative investment vehicles from across the spectrum of major, regional and specialty boutique investment banking firms.
