Founded in 1989, we employ a global multi-strategy investment approach, opportunistically engaging in a broad array of trading and investing strategies.

Millennium employs a global multi-strategy investment approach. History:

Millennium was founded in 1989 by Israel Englander, an American Stock Exchange veteran floor broker, specialist operator, and arbitrage expert.

In the early 1990s, Mr. Englander transitioned from daily direct trading activities to focusing on building and managing a sustainable and advanced investment platform capable of attracting and retaining the world’s top trading talent.

Today, Millennium’s executive team manages the Firm’s overall strategy, including the allocation of capital among strategies and trading teams, talent acquisition and development, compliance oversight and infrastructure and technology investment.

With over 15 members and an average of almost 25 years of professional experience, our senior management team is particularly well-suited to meet the challenges of the complex and constantly changing environment in which we operate – whether related to risk management, technological developments, counterparty and financing relationships, global legal and regulatory complexities, or building and overseeing a robust compliance framework.
