Overview:

Mitsubishi UFJ Securities (USA), Inc. ("MUS (USA)") is the US-based broker/dealer of the global securities and investment banking business of Mitsubishi UFJ Securities Co., Ltd. ("MUS"), itself the core securities company of the world's largest financial institution, the Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Inc. Through Mitsubishi UFJ Securities' global presence and that of the broader financial group, we serve our clients' unique needs in the United States and around the world through an integrated team of investment bankers and sales and research professionals across every time zone.

MUS (USA) is based in New York with a branch in San Francisco, and provides a wide range of securities and investment banking services to a diversified client base that includes corporations, financial institutions and governments based in the Americas.

Our business is divided into four core areas:

   * Equity Sales
     We offer an institutional equity brokerage service focused on the Japanese market. The Group provides execution service to institutional clients through sales teams based in New York and San Francisco, while also providing an Investor Relations service for Japanese issuers.
   * Equity Research
     MUS (USA)'s Equity/Sales Team provides objective market and sector analysis produced by our parent, MUS (Tokyo), to US institutional clients.
   * Repo and Fixed Income
     We offer complete financing services for US fixed income products. We currently fund US treasuries, agencies, mortgage-backed securities, asset-backed securities and corporate bonds. Beyond reverse repurchase and repurchase agreement transactions, we are able to fund via hold-in-custody, triparty, bonds borrowed and drop trades. The Repo and Fixed Income Group also executes outright cash trades for its clients as well as its proprietary book.
   * Investment Banking
     Through our Corporate Advisory and Capital Markets Groups, we offer a broad range of investment banking services. Our Corporate Advisory Group provides advice on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings and spin-offs. The Capital Markets Group provides a comprehensive slate of services including underwriting of debt and equity securities, private placements, secondary sales and trading and advisory services for its domestic and international corporate clients.
