Overview:

Mizuho Capital Markets Corporation ("MCMC" or "Mizuho Capital") is a wholly owned non–banking subsidiary of Mizuho Bank, Ltd.

MCMC is a Delaware corporation whose principal place of business is in New York City. MCMC's primary business is as market–maker in the over–the–counter derivatives markets. As a non–banking subsidiary of a U.S. bank registered holding company, MCMC received regulatory approval to commence operations in July 1990.
All transactions of MCMC are fully guaranteed by Mizuho Bank, Ltd.

Mizuho Capital has affiliates in London (Mizuho Capital Markets (UK) Ltd.) and Hong Kong (Mizuho Capital Markets (HK) Ltd.) that trade as agents for MCMC.
All transactions entered into by the trading desks at these affiliates are legally confirmed in the name of MCMC. In this manner, the MCMC franchise seamlessly provides global coverage of the derivatives markets for 24 hours a day.
