It is this unique and unbiased approach that enables Brownstone to direct its significant resources towards the regional dealer and bank community in an ethical, impartial and transparent fashion.

History:

After many years trading and managing dealer desks at major financial firms, Douglas Lowey identified a unique opportunity that the major bulge bracket firms chose to ignore. He knew that by focusing an entire firm’s resources solely on the needs of the regional broker dealer and bank community, he could fill a void that existed in the odd-lot corporate bond market. In May of 1998, Mr. Lowey joined forces with Barret Naylor, a veteran high yield salesperson, and began the proprietary trading and sales operations of Brownstone Investment Group. Lowey and Naylor immediately attracted and hired a select team of professionals from major financial institutions across Wall Street to create an innovative and energetic financial boutique.
