History:
Located in upstate New York, EPIC Advisors is a national leader in providing comprehensive retirement plan services and solutions. EPIC specializes in participant-directed plans, primarily using daily valuation recordkeeping.
EPIC Advisors, Inc. was founded in 1993 by James M. Genthner. Today, EPIC is a wholly owned subsidiary of NBT Financial Services, a subsidiary of NBT Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: NBTB). The company is managed by Robert F. Judd, President, and James M. Genthner, who serves as Executive Vice President. Both executives bring to EPIC significant experience in developing, managing, promoting and administering qualified retirement plan programs.
EPIC serves as recordkeeper for over 820 retirement plans with $2.5 billion in recordkeeping assets, and supports individual employer-sponsored plans and financial consultant partners in some 29 states.
