Northstar Bank, a progressive, locally owned, full-service community bank, is a visible leader and contributor in the community. We will provide service and quality products to meet our customer's needs. We strive to provide substantial returns to our customers, employees and shareholders using traditional service with today's convenience.
Overview: 

Northstar Bank and its sister bank, Seaway Community Bank headquartered in St. Clair, form a two-bank holding company - Northstar Financial Group, Inc. The banks operate independently of one another but share this state of the art computer and bookkeeping center, which provide services to each of the banks and their respective customers.
History: 

Northstar Bank opened its first office in Bad Axe in February 2001 with 11 employees. In February 2007, Community Bank merged with Northstar Bank to offer additional full-service locations in Caro, Akron and Pigeon. Since opening, Northstar Bank has experienced tremendous growth due to the support of its local communities and dedicated staff. Northstar Bank now employs 83 banking professionals.
