Seaway Community Bank is strongly committed to the communities in which we live and serve. The Bank, its employees and directors, provide extensive support in both time and money to numerous civic, religious, and community based activities and projects.

More specifically, an officer or director is involved (and more often than not in a position of leadership) in the following organizations: Algonac, Fort Gratiot, Port Huron, Richmond, and St. Clair Rotary Clubs; Algonac, Marine City, Marysville, Richmond, and St. Clair Chambers of Commerce; Mainstreet, Port Huron; St. Clair Knights of Columbus; Downriver Community Service; Algonac, East China, and St. Clair County Community College School Boards; March of Dimes; United Way of St. Clair County; St. Vincent DePaul; Community Foundation of St. Clair County; Eastern Thumb Association of Realtors; and the Economic Development Alliance of St. Clair County.

Whether it's opening an elementary school bank to teach children the importance of saving or marching in parades, we believe it's important to give back and participate within our communities.

History:

Seaway Community Bank opened its first office in St. Clair in December 2001, a second office in Algonac in October 2002 and a third office in Lenox Township in May 2004.
