History:

Barwon was founded in 2006 by Sam Armstrong and Rob Morrison, both experienced fund managers, who have strong track records as portfolio managers for some of Australia's leading investment management companies.Т

Andrew Green joined Barwon as a Partner in December 2006. Andrew was previously CEO of the Australian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (AVCAL) where he played a key role in promoting private equity as an asset class to institutional investors. Andrew was also a key driver of private equity regulatory and tax reform in Australia.

Peter Conners joined Barwon in January 2007 as a Partner. Peter has a wide range of investment experience, working predominantly with emerging companies in both the private and public markets. Prior to joining Barwon, he worked in corporate advisory at Patersons Securities, a leading Australian mid-cap broker, where he successfully executed over twenty capital raisings, IPOs and advisory engagements for fast-growing companies.

Barwon is an independent funds management company owned by the partners in the firm.
