ABN AMRO in Canada
In late 2007, RBS successfully led the consortium bid for ABN AMRO. Building on our already extensive relationships with corporates, financial institutions and governments in Europe, North America and Asia Pacific, the ABN AMRO transaction will extend our presence to more than 50 countries, improving our ability to meet your needs around the globe. This integration will bring considerable strengths in equities, corporate finance/advisory, emerging markets and transaction banking (cash management and trade finance).
Larry Maloney, Country Executive, leads the offices in Canada, where ABN AMRO boasts a solid and well-established presence.
ABN AMRO offer a wide range of products and services, with delivery both domestically and offshore. They provide Canada-based multinationals access to their international network, as well as providing banking solutions for foreign-owned subsidiaries operating in the country. This allows companies to consolidate their international banking needs with one global service provider.
The Canadian operation, in conjunction with product specialists based throughout the ABN AMRO’S global network, provide direct lending products, complimented by products such as global cash management, M&A advisory, public debt and equity distribution, private placements, trade finance, project finance and other services. These products and services are offered across the Canadian corporate, institutional and public sectors. |
