At Abacus Accounting we specialise in accounting and tax for small to medium businesses, rentals and trusts. We have clients in virtually every trade and most professions. We are not involved in the specialist areas of insolvency, auditing or business valuation, as such, we do not have to carry the overheads of these specialist areas which helps us to keep our hourly rates at a more reasonable level. Because we concentrate on business accounting and tax we believe we are more efficient at what we do. The principals of the firm have worked in commercial organisations in other fields such as sales and marketing and have run their own small manufacturing and retail businesses. We have done what you do. We understand what its like to be in business and know what you go through. We also use plain English not accounting jargon.
