Tavira was founded by Eliot Goodfellow in 2005, initially to trade derivatives, but with a clear vision to expand both the firm’s product offering and geographic coverage to better serve clients. Today, we are proud to offer a comprehensive suite of world-class financial services to our diverse group of global clients, including asset managers, hedge funds, government institutions, corporates, family offices and high net worth individuals. Tavira is headquartered in London and maintains offices in Monaco, Sydney and Dubai.

Our brokerage team delivers 24-hour, world class, multi-asset execution and advice based on a wealth of experience in the global financial markets. Our principal areas of expertise are Equities, Derivatives, Fixed Income, Distressed & Illiquids, Base Metals and Prime Brokerage.

Tavira’s asset management platform was founded in 2011 to provide fund managers with access to our unrivalled operational infrastructure, allowing them to focus on their core investing activities.

Senior Team

Eliot Goodfellow, Group CEO

Eliot Goodfellow founded Tavira in 2005. His vision, leadership and energy are the driving force behind the firm’s development. He initially set-up Tavira to trade derivatives, having previously served as Refco’s Head of Equity Derivatives. Tavira’s brokerage business now facilitates customer trading across equities, fixed income, special situations and commodities as well as derivatives.

Under Eliot’s direction, Tavira added a second pillar to its business in 2011 with the creation of an asset management platform, which has grown to include multiple hedge funds with total AUM approaching $1.3 billions.

Patrick Fietje, London CEO & Head of Asset Management

Patrick Fietje was appointed CEO of Tavira’s London office in October 2018. He initially joined Tavira in 2011 to establish the firm’s asset management business. He continues to lead Tavira Asset Management, which has become a best-in-class platform business with nearly $1.3 billions in AUM.

Prior to joining Tavira, Patrick worked at Goldman Sachs and Lehman Brothers as well as Euronova Capital Partners, where he was a founding partner of a large cap fund. Patrick graduated from the London School of Economics with a BSc in Economics in 1994 and received an MBA from IESE Business School in 2001.
