The Share capital of the Bank is US$ 100 million. The Total Assets of the Bank stood at US$ 245.64 million as of 31 December 2017. Loans and Advances at year end 2017, totaled US$ 138.71 million. Return on Assets for 2017 was 2.7%. Return on Average Ordinary Shareholders Equity for 2017 was 10.1%. The Bank’s Basel III Capital Adequacy Ratio at 31 December 2017 stood at 36.3% compared with 23.8% at 31 December 2016, remaining well in excess of Central Bank of Bahrain minimum requirement of 12.5%.
As part of the many services the Bank offers, we specialize in providing Trade Finance services like Factoring i.e. receivables financing through discounting of invoices. Since 2012, we have financed over US$ 2.2 billion of commodity exports, primarily from Asia to over 50 major multi-national companies in Europe and the North America.
