Tony Sacre, CEO, Bentleys Network, Bentleys Network
Tony Sacre is the Chief Executive Officer for Bentleys Australia & New Zealand.
Tony’s background includes significant international experience and leadership roles. His 25+-year career includes senior executive roles within ANZ Banking Group, Commonwealth Bank, HSBC, JP Morgan and National Australia Bank. He is MBA qualified and a CPA.
His international experience includes a role in New York with HSBC in a senior financial markets position. He has also led various financial markets, trade finance and advisory businesses throughout the Asia Pacific Region during his time at Commonwealth Bank, ANZ and AME Group.
Prior to joining Bentleys Network in 2018, Tony was CEO of the Sydney Stock Exchange, where he focused on building partnerships to drive business opportunities between Australia and the broader Asia Pacific Region (with a particular focus on China).
Tony is also a member of the Global Board for Allinial Global – the second-largest accounting association in the world, ranked 9th in the Global Top 10 Combined Listing of Accounting Networks and Associations.
Tony regularly shares his significant wealth of experience in international business and strategic development by presenting at business forums, conferences, and webinars. He is committed to driving international collaboration business opportunities and supporting thought leadership across the sector. He is also focused on enhancing capability and capacity within the Bentleys Network through leading developmental projects across all regions.
Stewart Douglas, Partner (Qld) & National Board Chair, Bentleys Queensland
Stewart Douglas is a Partner in the Audit & Assurance division of Bentleys Queensland.
Stewart has almost three decades of audit and professional experience – including several years’ working in the Big 4 accounting environment. Stewart has also worked internationally in London and Singapore.
Stewart’s business acumen has been further honed through his experience in investment banking and commerce, in addition to his career as an audit professional.
During his career, Stewart has assisted clients of various sizes across a broad range of sectors – including education, manufacturing, financial services, professional services, agribusiness, government and listed companies. He has expert technical knowledge across all facets of audit and assurance.
Stewart’s experience blends technical expertise with a commercial perspective to accounting issues. This allows him to provide practical real-world business advice. A hands-on approach and strong project management skills ensures he develops strong relationships with his clients.
Stewart is also the Chairman of the Bentleys National Management Board
Ben Cameron, Managing Partner (Qld), Bentleys Queensland
Ben Cameron is the Managing Partner of Bentleys Queensland.
Over his 30+ years with Bentleys, Ben has been a driving force behind the firms’ growth in both the rural advisory space and in the Queensland business market generally.
Ben is a respected, connected industry expert. As a trusted advisor and business confidant, he works with highly successful ASX listed entities, businesses and family groups across multiple sectors, including farming operations (operating in the beef (including feed lotting), grain, horticulture, cotton and other primary production industries), family business, corporate organisations, property companies, the finance sector, manufacturers and professional services.
Ben heads up the firm’s team of specialist agribusiness advisors who work with a mix of agribusiness clients, financiers, corporate and family-owned industry participants and other rural industry operators – such as stock agents and sales yard operators. Ben is a thought leader in business advisory and solutions for the rural industry. His expertise is directly related to his unique industry experience, which includes his role as lead advisor to assist multiple clients in the beef cattle industry to complete sale transactions, acquisitions and joint venture deals. Ben has managed all facets of multi-million dollar transactions from planning through to execution.
He also works closely with the corporate sector – his experience includes guiding clients undergoing IPO. Ben has also undertaken business reviews and asset realisation assignments. Across his diverse client base, he provides his clients with strategic, commercial advice that they can rely on.
Ben holds a number of non-executive Director appointments and committee positions for a range of organisations – including being a member of Investment Committees.
He successfully led the attainment of an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) for Bentleys Queensland and has a depth of experience in funds management.
He is regularly sought for industry commentary, publications and presentations.
Nigel Banks, Director & National Board Member (NSW), Bentleys New South Wales
Nigel Banks is a founding Director of Bentleys NSW, and a Director in the firm’s Business Services division.
Nigel specialises in providing high-net-worth individuals, professionals and business groups with commercial, and solutions-driven business and tax advice. Nigel has assisted clients with the establishment of corporate structures, outsourced accounting services, high-level tax advice, and management of Australian Taxation Office high-wealth reviews.
His training in New Zealand and years spent working in England has given Nigel a strong background in understanding the needs of international parent companies, and he provides full accounting support for branches and subsidiaries of many foreign companies here in Australia. This includes management accounting, payroll, and employee salary packaging support.
Nigel applies his wealth of industry experience to his clients in industries such as property and construction, retail and wholesale trade, manufacturing, medical, primary production and professional practices.
Kevin Cranfield, Managing Director (NSW), Bentleys New South Wales
Kevin Cranfield is a founding Director of Bentleys NSW, and Managing Director of the practice
Kevin leads a team in the firm’s Business Services division and he is also involved as a second director of the Audit and Assurance practice. Kevin is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and of Financial Services Institute of Australia.
With over 25 years in the profession, Kevin has acted as professional advisor to a diverse range of high-net-worth individuals and businesses in the small to medium enterprises (SME) market, including those in agribusiness and primary production, manufacturing, property development, and IT and communications. Kevin advises a range of businesses including insurance brokers, car dealerships, and not-for-profit organisations.
Kevin takes a hands-on approach to working with his clients and has become an integral part of many of their businesses, working closely with them as their trusted advisor. Kevin provides his clients with strategic and commercial advice on all aspects of taxation, accounting, and advisory services. He has assisted clients with business performance reviews, mergers and acquisitions, business sales, planning and restructuring advice, and outsourced CFO services.
As a passionate philanthropist, Kevin is involved with a large number of not-for-profit and charity organisations, including indigenous corporations, a women’s hospital in Africa, a charity preserving Australia’s arctic heritage, a large community college, and other registered charities. Kevin is also proud to sit on the audit committee for Anglicare in NSW.
John Delmo, Chairman (Vic), McLean Delmo Bentleys Victoria
John Delmo is the Chairman of McLean Delmo Bentleys.
John has more than 30 years’ experience in professional and commercial accounting.
John delivers clients a complete business service with proven experience in business planning and structuring, management consulting, mergers and acquisitions and international taxation. John joined the firm in 1980 and has been an integral part of the firm’s history and growth over that time.
Prior to joining the firm, John commenced work at the ATO and then moved to one of the ‘big four’ accountancy firms as a taxation specialist both locally and internationally.
John is a Fellow of the Australian Society of Certified Practising Accountants, a Member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a Fellow of the Taxation Institute and a Registered Company Auditor.
