Since we first began operating in 1982, AMD Group has grown to be one of the largest accounting, audit and business advisory service provider groups in regional WA, with offices based in the South West, Mid West and Peel regions. Along with our service offerings, our client base has grown to government, commercial, corporate and not-for-profit clients, across all industry sectors.

Stuart Fricker, CPA, GAICD, Director

Stuart joined AMD in 1998 and was appointed a Director of the firm in 2001.

Stuart holds a Bachelor of Business Degree from Edith Cowan University, is a member of the Certified Practising Accountants and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

With a broad range of experience in large commercial, manufacturing and public accounting, Stuart specialises in providing clients with business management and strategic planning advisory services.

Stuart also acts as a Non-Executive Director on Private Wealth Family Boards offering Strategic Business Advice.

Tim Partridge, FCA, GAICD, Director

Tim joined AMD in 1998 and was appointed a Director of the firm in 2004.

Tim holds a Bachelor of Commerce from UWA, is a Chartered Accountant and a Registered Company Auditor. Tim is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors Australia, and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. In July 2012, Tim was appointed as a member of the BKR Asia Pacific Standards Committee and was appointed as a member of the BKR Worldwide Board from 2013 to 2018.

Overseeing AMD’s Audit and Assurance team, Tim is actively involved in providing both external and internal audits as well as related services to a broad range of clients. These include large proprietary and foreign owned companies, cooperatives, local government, incorporated associations and not-for-profit organisations.

Tim’s areas of expertise include the audit of financial reports for companies as per ASIC / Corporations Act requirements, compliance audits, internal audits, and financial reporting advice including compliance with Australian Accounting Standards. Tim also undertakes Quality Reviews of accounting firms on behalf of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Tasman Nolan, CPA, Director

Tasman joined AMD in 2009 in the Bunbury office. In 2010 Tas relocated to Geraldton where he lives and works as Director of our Geraldton Office.

Tas has over 20 years of public practice accounting experience after completing his Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting and Taxation at Curtin University followed by professional qualification.

Tasman’s experience has given him an expertise in primary production and mining related activities. He has specific specialist knowledge and consults directly in respect of business structures and advanced taxation issues.

Tasman is also able to assist current and new clients with their existing accounting and taxation requirements, as well as strategic and succession planning for the future.

Melissa Pascoe, CA Director

Melissa Pascoe is a highly valued member of the AMD Tax and Advisory team and, with more than 15 years in financial services, one of our most experienced senior accountants. Based in AMD’s Geraldton office, Melissa is Geraldton born and bred, bringing her clients a deep understanding of the local business landscape, along with expertise and a strong commitment to results. She became a member of the Chartered Accountants body in February 2019.
