Founded in 2016, Anumara Capital LLP was established in London and São Paulo because we believe the prevailing global private equity strategies neglect huge opportunities in the Brazilian market, depriving international investors of outstanding returns on investment ​ We are passionate about a creative new investment mentality and are engaged in the management of client and proprietary assets, applying our partners' expertise to buyout operations of Brazilian SMEs ​ Our Brazilian small & mid-market private equity vehicle focuses on unconsolidated, unorthodox businesses, with exceptional upside potential that go unnoticed by global players because of scale, industry or geography. Anumara Capital was born out of the desire to make active buyouts in a way that is different from the mainstream, with emphasis on looking for unique opportunities to use capital in creative ways and give our investors access to tools and projects they would not find elsewhere, whilst drawing from their collective experiences, insights and ideas to craft singular and highly lucrative structures ​ We are not a private equity fund. We are entrepreneurs searching for an opportunity to buy and build a unique target in Brazil, with a distinguished investment philosophy and structured to give a select few investors active participation in its screening and management. We are small and passionate, so unlike other firms we can take time with each investor and collaborate with them in a way that is unprecedented, building deals that would be too different or small for others, allowing us to find more value in unconventional places This also means that we are lean with our corporate expenses, allowing us to use investor money for investor returns instead of a corner office Our investors are more than clients or mere capital providers, they are a fundamental source of inspiration, guidance and knowledge and are a central part of our investment decisions - we will never invest in anything without consulting with them first ​ Our partners are experienced in their respective fields, with complimentary skills and relationships, which allows us to act on different fronts and geographies whilst ensuring every project is executed to the highest quality standard
