The Partnership and Control investing approach allows BTC to exercise positive and effective control during the investment period, agree on a strategic plan focusing on stability and pre-define BTC’s path to exit. BTC will partner with existing owners (original or accidental) and key decision makers to help ensure natural owners retain long-term ownership and restore the growth potential. BTC invests across the balance sheet in “good” mid-sized companies with a viable and proven business model but experiencing financial and liquidity constraints as well as lack of leadership due to involuntary ownership by financial institutions.
