Tom Burdette and Charlie Bish both started their own CPA firms in Northern Virginia back in the late 1970s. In the 1980s, Jeff Smith teamed up with Tom to become The Burdette Smith Group, PC, eventually adding Joe English to their partner ranks. At the same time, Charlie, was joined by John Haffey, to form Bish & Haffey, PC. In 2012, these two esteemed firms joined forces, adding two more partners, Beth Moffett and Tom Crutchfield, to become Burdette Smith & Bish LLC.
