　In February 2002,Chuo Mitsui Trust Group was created, with Mitsui Trust Holdings, Inc. ("Mitsui Trust Holdings"), as the financial holding company under which The Chuo Mitsui Trust and Banking Company, Limited ("Chuo Mitsui"), and Mitsui Asset Trust and Banking Co., Ltd. ("Mitsui Asset"), operate as subsidiaries. 　In October 2007, to strengthen the group management, two subsidiaries of Chuo Mitsui, Chuo Mitsui Asset Management Co., Ltd. ("Chuo Mitsui Asset Management") and Chuo Mitsui Capital Co., Ltd. ("Chuo Mitsui Capital") became the direct wholly-owned subsidiaries of the holding company. 　In addition to these structural changes, in an effort to unify our corporate branding under the "Chuo Mitsui" name and increase our brand awareness: ・ Mitsui Asset Trust & Banking Co., Ltd. was renamed Chuo Mitsui Asset Trust & Banking Co., Ltd.("Chuo Mitsui Asset"). ・ Mitsui Trust Holdings, Inc. was renamed Chuo Mitsui Trust Holdings, Inc.. ・ Our group trade name, Mitsui Trust Financial Group was renamed Chuo Mitsui Trust Group. 　As a group, we have a wealth of client-oriented strengths that make us the best choice for trust banking products and services.
