Contemporary Personnel Staffing (CPS) was established in 1989 by Laurie Liechty, CPC to provide temporary staffing solutions in Clerical, Administrative, Accounting, Manufacturing, and Technical disciplines. In 1996, Laurie recognized the need for executive level recruitment services, and founded Professionals Incorporated to focus on Accounting/Finance, Engineering, Government Contracting, HR, Information Technology, and Sales/Marketing. Together, CPS and Professionals Incorporated have merged to form CPS Recruitment, the largest independently owned, full service staffing and recruitment firm in Central NY. CPS Recruitment qualifies as a small business based on standards set by the Small Business Association (SBA), and are certified through Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) as a Woman-Owned Enterprise and also as a Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) bringing added benefits to organizations seeking to meet diversity spend requirements.
