I have over 20 years of diversified accounting, auditing and tax experience in various industries. After graduating from The University of Texas with a Master in Professional Accounting in 1994, I started my career as an auditor with Ernst & Young LLP working with many large manufacturing and energy clients. I then ventured into private industry serving as Assistant Controller then Vice President/Controller for Velocity Express, Inc., the largest global same day delivery business. Later, I held positions as Assistant Controller and Controller at a large privately held investment firm and Director of Finance at an outsourced bookkeeping and controller services firm. Since 2008, I have been providing various tax and accounting services to individuals and small businesses in the Kingwood, Texas area. I have been a Certified Public Accountant in Texas since 1994 and am a QuickBooks Online Advanced Certified ProAdvisor. I served as Treasurer from 2005 through 2007 for the American Business Women’s Association Kingwood Chapter. I grew up in Kingwood, Texas and graduated from Kingwood High School in 1989. I still reside in Kingwood with my husband and children. When I am not working or spending time with my family, I can usually be found on the tennis court.
