Prior to this, Chuck assisted closely held businesses with tax compliance, financial reporting and managing financial operations with KPMG Peat Marwick. In 1981, he joined a large local accounting firm where he focused on management consulting which involved cutting edge accounting, reporting systems and related software. In 1989, Chuck recruited Larry Kitchel from Texas A&M University. Larry’s interest in taxation and his dedication to his clients led him to becoming a Duff Kitchel shareholder in 1995. With varied and complementary skills and a shared belief in the accounting firm business model, Chuck Duff and Larry Kitchel have expanded Duff Kitchel into what it is today: a suite of accounting services for many small to mid-size companies and families with complex accounting needs. With 19 employees, Duff Kitchel provides CFO services, controller and tax accounting services, tailored to our clients’ diverse needs and circumstances.
