Elpis Financial Pte Ltd (Elpis) was founded in 1991, as a life insurance broking firm. Elpis is the Greek word for hope that is sure and steadfast. It was originally known as Elpis Associates Pte Ltd. Elpis was established with the founder's vision of ensuring our Clients hopes in life be fulfilled for this life and beyond. We plan with our Clients to achieve their financial hopes through the effective application of financial instruments which include: life insurance as the foundation of our Clients' financial plans; plans to ensure business continuity and succession; the writing of a will for contingency; risk management and structuring a balanced, diversified investment portfolio. Since the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) enacted the Financial Advisers Act (FAA) in 2002, Elpis comes under the purview of the FAA. On 25 February 2003, MAS issued Elpis a Financial Adviser Licence (FA-095016-2), which authorised us to market and advise on life insurance and unit trusts. Hence, to better reflect the business that Elpis now provides, Elpis Associates Pte Ltd was renamed Elpis Financial Pte Ltd.
