EP Wealth’s founding partners, Derek Holman and Brian Parker, have been best friends since the 6th grade. And they started their work lives together behind the counter at a San Diego frozen yogurt shop.
After college, they became successful financial advisors who came to share a dissatisfaction with a wealth management industry that seemed to put profits before people. In 1999, Brian and Derek joined forces to start Premier Financial Management, which later became EP Wealth Advisors, offering objective, conflict-free financial planning and investment advice with an understanding that each client is unique.
