We provide asset management services to high net worth individuals, family offices, pension plans, endowments, and foundations. In late 2004, senior management successfully completed a management buyout that gave the employees 100% ownership. Falcon Point's investment team has over 100 years of combined experience managing investments and is complimented by a seasoned operations and investor relations team. Our disciplined bottom up research methodology, our experience in small growth stocks and our focused portfolios have enabled us to provide alpha to our clients over the long term. Falcon Point's three core equity strategies are the: Small Cap Growth Strategy, Long/Short Strategy, and Micro Cap Growth Strategy. We believe that a concentrated portfolio of high quality, growing companies purchased at reasonable valuations provides attractive returns to our clients. Through extensive company specific and industry due diligence, which includes meeting with hundreds of management teams each year, we seek to uncover undervalued businesses with significant growth potential. Falcon Point has a robust and consistent research process based on a fundamental, bottom up process. A common research platform is used across all of our equity strategies. The team typically builds eight quarter financial models and does extensive valuation work based on P/E, EV/EBITDA and uses a DCF approach. Stocks are ranked against each other based on appreciation potential. We run focused strategies where only the best ideas make it into the portfolio. Portfolios typically consist of 35-50 stocks with what we believe have 30-50% appreciation potential over the next twelve to eighteen months.
