Finsbury International was formed in 2004 and originally based in Azerbaijan, primarily to provide better financial advice to the expatriates in the Oil and Gas industry. From that success operations developed into Europe initially with the creation of an office in Zurich in 2007. As relationships developed and via our professional sporting connections Finsbury established itself in the UK in 2009 with a focus on providing financial advice to up and coming young sportspeople who needed to get the right financial advice at the start of their careers. Since then an office has opened in Geneva and most recently 2 further offices in Cyprus and France. Finsbury has further authorisations via its UK regulator the FCA to provide advice remotely to other EEA member states via the European Commissions Single Market Directive, in Finsbury's case specifically The Insurance Mediation Directive (2002/92/EC).
