First Allied Asset Management, Inc. is an innovative investment management firm that provides strategies to financial advisors registered with First Allied Advisory Services and First Allied Securities. It is one of many investment managers available to First Allied advisors and their clients. The Household Endowment Model First Allied Asset Management investment strategies reflect a core philosophy, leverage the manager’s strengths, and adhere to a structured methodology. This conviction has driven the creation of a number of investment strategies that share a set of essential attributes that guide their design and ongoing management. We call this methodology the Household Endowment Model. The Household Endowment Model emulates the work of the nation’s largest educational endowments, or “super endowments,” which have been able to outperform markets through various cycles over much of the last decade. Notwithstanding mandates to meet the intermediate and long-term inflation-adjusted spending needs of their respective institutions while simultaneously meeting inflation targets, these endowments were able to outperform broader indices through various market cycles with significantly less volatility.
