Founded 16 years ago by current Managing Director, Michael Haldane, after having realized that many financial institutions were not able to provide their clients with complete independent advice. Over the last 18 years Michael has built Global & Local to be one of the most respected financial advisory companies in South Africa. In order to service this client base of over 3500 clients, with over R3 billion invested through Global & Local, Michael has built a team of 23 talented and passionate individuals, each with specialist knowledge, ranging from investment advice and technical analysis to administration. The head office is currently housed at 175 Barry Hertzog Avenue in Emmarentia Johannesburg, we also have a Cape Town office, from where clients capital can be managed, no matter where they are in South Africa or abroad. Currently Global & Local have clients that reside in places such as USA, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Egypt, Canada, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
