Gold Consulting’s mission is to help investment managers achieve their growth objectives by improving the effectiveness of their communications in three key areas: business development, client servicing and consultant relations. We believe that, in today’s competitive environment, generating superior rates of return is a necessary requirement for gaining and keeping new clients, but not a sufficient requirement.
Ron Gold launched Gold Consulting, Inc., in September 2006 after spending 35 years in the institutional investment management industry—23 years as a consultant to corporate and public pension funds, endowments and foundations, and 12 years with various investment firms in the areas of business development, client servicing and consultant relations. During his career, Ron has discovered what separates the successful communicators from the rest of the pack as a result of: Evaluating hundreds of questionnaire and RFP responses Observing representatives of investment firms conduct more than one thousand new-business presentations, client-service meetings and consultant meetings Reading thousands of written communications that investment managers prepare for clients, prospects and consultants Gold Consulting draws on Ron’s extensive knowledge and experience to help investment managers win and keep business by improving the effectiveness of their communications.
