The firm was founded in 1993 by P. Daphne Harris and Trevor H. Vickers. During the 1980s Daphne and Trevor worked together in the tax department of the Portland, Maine office of KPMG Peat Marwick before leaving to establish their own practices. Daphne retired from the firm on October 31, 2011.
