Hughes Bertram & Co (now Harrison Riley Accountants) was established over 70 years ago. Mr Bogush and Regional Business Services was formed in 1946 and soon established a strong client base. Mrs Anne Hughes bought the firm out in 1976 and integrated her own clients.Mrs Hughes was one of the first woman Chartered Accountants to form an Accountancy practice. In 1985 Gordon Harrison joined the firm previously being trained by a firm of Chartered Accountants in Leicester. Sadly Mrs Hughes died in 1987 and for a short period was operated by her husband Ray Hughes, Maurice Bertram was made a partner. In 2015 after the retirement of Maurice Bertram , Gordon aquired the client base and with 37 years experience the task of bringing the Practice up to date started. Wayne Riley a previous employee also joined the firm as Partner to oversee the day to day running of business progression etc.
