HB Financial Group was founded after Harriett Barnes, who was looking to move away from working for a large financial services firm that dictated the types of investments and financial services she should offer her clients. Harriett knew that this wasn't fair to her clients, many of whom had different financial goals. And, given the complexity of the financial services industry today, she wanted the tools, resources, and ability to service and dedicate herself more to the needs of her clients rather than to the needs and goals of a large corporation. Harriett decided to set out on her own and create the type of firm she thought was needed in this day and age of rushed and sometimes impersonal service. HB Financial Group chose to partner with Commonwealth Financial Network®, one of the preeminent independent broker/dealers in the United States. The alliance with Commonwealth ensures that clients receive a wide variety of investment choices to complement their goals. It also helps the company best serve clients in a seamless and efficient manner by providing back office, investment, and technology support.
