Hargreaves Lansdown Insurance Brokers was the subject of a management buy out in 2000 and became HLI (UK), a brokerage which has maintained the same standards and objectives. Our turnover has now grown by over 50% since then and, since moving into our own offices in 2001, we have been able to expand our workforce by 40%. We have significant accounts with many of the major UK insurers and Lloyds of London, providing an excellent platform for negotiation. With limited expenditure on advertising, our new business emanates primarily from recommendations.
