In 1990, after three years in the financial services industry with London Life as a life insurance agent, Iain left to form his own independent financial planning firm. Iain saw that his clients were looking for independent advice on financial matters. They were tired of being sold product and were looking for someone who would offer professional solutions from the best companies depending on their needs. Having entered the financial services business after years of success in sales and management, Iain understood the importance of independent advice and made it a cornerstone of his vision and mission in forming Iain A. Thomson and Associates Inc. Integrity, knowledge and commitment to providing independent advice on all financial planning matters has been at the core of the firm ever since. Over the last 25 years, the company’s financial planning and support team has grown to seven dedicated members who all understand and believe in Iain’s mission and vision. With a high level of knowledge and expertise, each member of the team serves a wide range of client needs in a timely manner, with care and understanding. They are committed to providing friendly, personalized service and ongoing communication with every client.
