Investex Capital is an independent, corporate finance firm based in City of London. We invest in a number of sectors with a view to upside and early exit. Our team is very entrepreneurial. It has hands-on experience globally and we pride ourselves on being able to recognize opportunity and make quick decisions. Since our commencement in 2008, we have grown to execute deals in the $10 million to $100 million range. We are currently active in Europe, Asia, Africa and Central America. We typically invest in projects that are growing or where consolidation is taking place. OUR STRATEGY At the heart of the Investex Capital strategy is a willingness to seek out the “non vanilla” transaction. Investex Capital generally invests in situations outside of those which appeal to the mainstream private equity community. Our deals are often particularly challenging or complex and are therefore unlikely to appeal to mainstream investors. OUR DEALS Include the following: Challenging or complex management buyouts and buy-ins Buy-and-build strategies Deals which require high speed execution Operational turnarounds and financial restructuring Later stage development capital SECTORS & NICHES The sectors and niches which tend to have the highest appeal to us are: Mining: copper, gold Exploration: oil & gas Technology Litigation funding Aircraft funding: pre-owned and parts Physical metal purchasing Property Building land WHERE WE INVEST We will typically invest in companies with enterprise values between five million pounds Sterling and one hundred million pounds, with a targeted equity investment of up to 50%. We seek to take controlling equity positions, but can also invest in other parts of the capital structure, including mezzanine and senior debt in support of equity-led transactions. OUR RESEARCH We research businesses where our team can make a difference. Our senior team members include proven business leaders who have successfully run, transformed and grown businesses themselves. We are relatively sector agnostic but typically invest in sectors that are growing and/or consolidating and we have invested across a wide range of sectors to date.
