Ironsides Partners LLC (“Ironsides”) is a Boston-based investment manager specializing in asset value investing. Ironsides employs arbitrage, distressed opportunities and special situation strategies with a focus on closed end funds, holding companies and corporate restructurings. Our core philosophy is that markets often price securities at a wide disparity from the intrinsic value of the underlying assets. We seek opportunities to purchase assets at a substantial discount to readily ascertainable asset values or to sell or short securities priced at a premium to intrinsic value. Other strategies employ more traditional value investing methods.
