He left Ernst & Whinney to practice on his own, in large part so he could have the flexibility to be a part of his children’s lives while they were young. This “family” outlook is still an important part of the way we operate. We treat staff and clients as part of the Kaduson, Strauss & Co. family. In 1992, Richard Strauss joined the practice, and became a partner in 1994. From that time, the firm has grown steadily, despite Bill’s untimely death in 2002. Rich Strauss started the Kaduson Strauss Community Foundation in 2001. The Foundation raises funds through an annual golf outing and other sources. The funds are used to support various local and regional charitable organizations and community groups.
